Asia cup basic information :

The primary purpose of initiating the Asia Cup tournament was to foster goodwill among Asian countries. The tournament was established in 1983, when the Asian Cricket Council was formed. This is the only tournament in the whole world; the team that wins it is considered the champion of Asia for the whole year. After that, India participated in this tournament three years later, in 1986, because at that time, Sri Lanka and India used to play with the same team.

Jitesh Sharma entered the Vidarbha senior team in the 2013-14 season. At that time, Jitesh was a wicketkeeper and batsman.
