On February 4, tragedy struck when a transport from the Channarayapatna Warehouse of the Hassan Division, operating on the Bangalore-Dharmasthala route, met with an accident while negotiating a bend near Bhage, Sakleshpur. The accident resulted in the unfortunate demise of G N Amruth, aged 34, a passenger who lost his life on the spot.
In response to this heartbreaking incident, Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) took swift action to provide assistance and support to the family of the deceased. Today, the father of the late G D Nagaraj has been granted a compensation of ₹10 lakh and offered reassurance during this difficult time.
