Prime Minister Modi Inaugurates Key Highway Projects Across India

Dwarka Expressway : Prime Minister Narendra Modi has embarked on a significant initiative, inaugurating and laying foundation stones for 112 national highway projects valued at ₹1 lakh crore. These projects span various states and promise to revolutionize transportation infrastructure across the nation. Among the notable projects inaugurated is the Haryana section of the Dwarka Expressway, a pivotal development aimed at alleviating traffic congestion between Delhi and Gurugram.

The Haryana section of the Dwarka Expressway, stretching 19 kilometers and comprising two packages, has been constructed at a cost of approximately ₹4,100 crore. This expressway is set to enhance connectivity between Delhi, Gurugram, and the IGI Airport, thereby facilitating smoother movement of goods and commuters.

Additionally, Prime Minister Modi has unveiled several other key projects. These include the Urban Extension Road-II (UER-II) in Delhi, Lucknow Ring Road in Uttar Pradesh, and the Anandapuram-Pendurthi-Anakapalli section of NH-16 in Andhra Pradesh. These endeavors, along with numerous others, are expected to catalyze economic growth, generate employment opportunities, and stimulate trade and commerce in their respective regions.

Furthermore, Prime Minister Modi has laid the foundation stones for various national highway projects across the country. Noteworthy among these are the Bengaluru-Kadappa-Vijayawada Expressway in Andhra Pradesh, the Belgaum-Hungund-Raichur Section of NH-748A in Karnataka, the Shamli-Ambala Highway in Haryana, and the Amritsar-Bathinda corridor in Punjab.

This expressway not only improves traffic flow but also offers direct connectivity to the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi and Gurugram Bypass.

In addition to the Dwarka Expressway, PM Modi will inaugurate various other major projects, including the Urban Extension Road-II (UER-II) in Delhi, Lucknow Ring Road in Uttar Pradesh, and NH-16 in Andhra Pradesh. Furthermore, he will lay the foundation stones for several upcoming highway projects across the country.

These initiatives are expected to bolster the national highway network, spur socio-economic development, create employment opportunities, and foster trade and commerce in different regions of India.
